Volunteer for Valentine's Day free hugs and high fives

For the third consecutive year, The Calgary Airport Authority is looking for volunteers to make passengers and employees feel extra special by giving out free hugs or high fives on Valentine's Day.

Throughout the day of love on February 14, Team YYC volunteers will be wearing red hearts promoting the words "Free Hugs or High Fives" to passengers and employees who may need a lift.

Why hugs?

The outcomes are profound. Hugs can contribute to making both recipients and those giving hugs feel happier, healthier and more connected.

Interested in wearing a badge and making someone's day brighter? We would love to hear from you! Please click here to sign up for a half hour (or more) time slot and The Authority will have a red badge and a bag of chocolate kisses available for pickup at Main Reception (until 4:00 p.m.) prior to your shift.
