Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Survey Results

YYC participates in a worldwide program called the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Program. YYC is one of approximately 200 airports that use this program to benchmark their performance and improve upon their airport services. We survey 2,000 people per year and have belonged to the program since 2007.

Thanks to each and every one of you, we achieved a 2013  "Overall Passenger Satisfaction" score of 4.29 out of 5! Despite large amounts of construction taking place at the airport, YYC still rose well above the average score within ASQ. This was made possible by the people at YYC who help make the passenger experience a personal one! We saw rises in our rankings within our Key Drivers for these categories: 

  • Arrivals Passport Inspection
  • Waiting at Security Inspection 

Gains were also made in the following categories:

  • Waiting Time at Passport/ Personal ID Inspection 
  • Restaurant/ Eating Facilities
  • Restaurant Facilities Value for Money
  • Shopping Facilities
  • Shopping Facilities Value for Money
  • Speed of Baggage Delivery Service
  • Customs Inspection
