Holidays at YYC

This December the airport community will have about 1.4 million opportunities to create memorable moments with guests, as well as many ways to connect with your airport community. Get in the festive spirit and spend some time having fun with your fellow Team YYC this holiday season.

  1. Enjoy the holiday tunes
With the addition of YYC’s new music program, we’ve expanded our lineup of seasonal melodies at the International Arrivals stage. Enjoy a variety of daily performances by choirs, schools and local talent performing from December 8 to 23. See the events page for more details!

  2. Spread the festive cheer
With so many guests travelling through YYC this month, there are many ways to brighten our visitors’ travel experiences. Volunteer to wrap gifts, dress up to Surprise & Delight or donate to a toy drive.

  3. Strike a pose

Holiday cards anyone? Starting on December 15, snap a fun, festive pic at one of YYC’s two professionally-decorated photo ops.
Located at: International Arrivals music stage, and Santa display in front of Door 11 on the Departures Level.

  4. Take a team photo with Santa
On December 17 and 18, gather your team or even bring your little ones and families for a free photo sheet (valued at $25). Enjoy free acitivity books, cookie decorating, and giveaways for the kiddos!

  5. Get your flu shot
Cross this off your list by calling Sandstone Pharmacies at 403 264 4471 to pre-book your appointment — or simply pop down between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

  6. Plan a special welcome
If you have any friends or family coming to town, treat them to a famed White Hat Ceremony, for a memorable arrival experience
