Each #WhiteHatWednesday, we will highlight one of the awesome members of Team YYC. This week, read on to learn more about Marcel, Inflight Base Manager for WestJet.

Marcel, a self-admitted aviation geek, is the Inflight Base Manager for WestJet in Calgary, who oversees eight managers and 1500 employees.

Originally from Medicine Hat, he spent the last nine years in Qatar at the luxurious airport in Doha - but says there is nothing quite like arriving back in Calgary "to the friendliness of the White Hatters."

Being a new dad brings him special joy, but one of Marcel's favourite things to do is simply enjoy coffee and conversation with a small group of friends.
