Volunteer for an hour, make a lasting difference

Once again, YYC is excited to partner with Tim Hortons for their annual Camp Day. On Wednesday, June 5, Tim Hortons is asking YYC Crew to volunteer for an hour to serve coffee, a snack or simply welcome customers. All money raised from a variety of store sales, such as coffee, bracelets and donations, will go directly to benefit Tim Hortons Foundation Camps, helping them provide underprivileged youth the opportunity to participate in camps.

“This program is strongly supported by our executive and staff are asked and encouraged to participate,” says Peggy Blacklock, Manager, Airport Community Engagement, Customer Care.

Through the immense support and dedication shown by customers, Tim Hortons employees and volunteers over the years, more than 275,000 kids have been able to take part and experience invaluable personal growth in camps. Through this unique and specialized experience, they are taught important life skills which will benefit them in continuing their journey towards becoming successful adults.

Date: Wednesday, June 5

Time: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Location: Tim Hortons in ITB

If you are interested in participating, please contact Gurpreet Thind (gurpreet.thind@hmshost.com) to sign up with subject line “Camp Day” and your preferred  one-hour shift between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

We thank you for investing time out of your busy schedule and taking part in Camp Day.
