WestJet Continues to Shape YYC as Largest Hub Airport

This week, YYC's airline partner WestJet announced its enhanced summer flight schedule, increasing connectivity out of YYC Calgary International Airport with 72 more weekly flights to key business and tourism destinations in Canada and the U.S. This will provide better frequency and more convenient schedules for all guests flying through YYC with greater connectivity onto the WestJet network.

In addition to increased frequencies, WestJet will also launch Denver service starting March 8, Mexico City service on March 14 and Whitehorse service on June 29.

Offering the most flights and connections than any other airline in Calgary, YYC is once again proud to be WestJet’s largest hub. The increased summer schedule will provide WestJet’s network a total of 765 daily flights to 92 destinations across Canada, the U.S., Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and Europe.
