Load-a-LINK Food Drive: How did we do?

Our first ever Load-a-LINK food drive was a success!

Thank you to the many individuals and partner organizations from Team YYC that helped to load the LINK on Wednesday. Together we filled seven boxes for the Calgary Food Bank in just 12 hours. All donations are now en route way to their next stop.

A special thank you to the White Hat Volunteers who supervised the donations, without whom the food drive would not have happened.

Missed your chance to donate? Donate online! We’ll be back again next to your load the LINK even fuller!

Please keep your non-perishable food donations inside the shuttle at all times! On Dec. 4, you are invited to help fill an entire LINK Shuttle with much needed donations for the Calgary Foodbank—in just 12 hours! Mark your calendars now, the challenge is on!

Staff, passengers and other community members are invited to bring their non-perishable foodbank donations to the parked LINK shuttle, located pre-security between Doors 11 and 12 on the Departures level. If you have your donation ready ahead of time, you can leave your contribution at the donation box located at main reception.

See the Food Bank’s wishlist here.

Planning on participating? Comment below so we can expect your donation! Please wait until Dec. 4 to leave your donations in the LINK shuttle.
