City Looks for Input on Future LRT to Airport

At YYC we value our guests, employees and partners and want to ensure they have an effortless experience even while en-route to the terminal. As the City looks to enhance access to YYC, an important employer and economic driver for Calgary, they are looking for the input from our Team YYC community as part of a Phase 1 consultation plan for what is known as the Airport Transit Study.

This City of Calgary Study is exploring a future transit connection to the Calgary International Airport by connecting the future Green Line LRT with the future Blue Line LRT. The Study Team is looking to obtain input from the public regarding the Study’s goals, as well as considerations related to alignment, technology and possible station locations.

If you’re interested in learning more or sharing your insight for how we can connect Calgarians to YYC quicker and more efficiently click here for more information. There are two upcoming open houses on June 23 and July 4, along with an online survey.
